Maybe. Maybe Not...

I cannot type much, but I have been admitted into Abbott at Noon today. They want to deliver Elijah because preclampsia is setting in....

I do not want to do this...

I thought I had more time to be with him...

We will know more in the morning, unless things change beyond our control...

We spend a lot of time fretting over things over which we have absolutely no control. We need to understand that God is in complete control. We talk a lot about changing the world; the truth is only God can. We do not have the power and ability to change the world, or people surrounding our lives, regardless of how much we nag, whine and complain. The world is filled with injustice and many events that go against God's teaching. Life is not always fair, and while we don't always understand this world, we can have confidence that God does. He asks us to follow Him day by day. Our responsibility is to Him, nourishing our relationship with Him and allowing Him to be in control of our lives, giving us wisdom and insight that enables us to be prepared for whatever the day holds. Spending time with God in prayer is not only our best defense but the only one in a world that sometimes seems to make no sense.
